Trade Policy

Ben’s Books will give store credit for books accepted for trade.

Credit will be based upon 30% of store owner’s resale price.

Up to 50% of purchase may be paid for with accrued credit.

For example, if purchase comes to $10, Up to $5 of customer credit may be used toward purchase.

Any remaining credit may be used during future visits, according to the same policy.

Acceptance and pricing of books is at store owner’s discretion.

Resale prices may depend upon: demand, condition of books, and price paid by store owner.

Rarely I may purchase books. As a guide, I may offer approximately half of what I would give for store credit.

Books by local authors may be accepted for sale on consignment.

Donations are always welcome!

If you have books or other papers you believe are unusable, please consider donating them to St. Vincent de Paul in Escanaba and Gladstone or the Rapid River American Legion. Funds are raised through the sale of these recyclables to a local paper plant.
